Modifying the Texture in the Free Chibi Cat Asset
The content related to the cat was good enough to start the project, however, we don't want to save the same cat in all the different levels of the game, that'd be boring. So the textures of the base cat were modified using Gimp to get more cats in our game. Here we will explain all the modified textures added to the game to have 11 different cats. The table of the cats can be seen in the Game Design Outline, in the section 4: Story, Setting & Character.
The following table, shows the texture of each of the cats of the game used for different levels.

Gimp
To get new cats models, only the original texture (the orange cat) had to be modified, for this, an image manipulator software was used: Gimp, which is open source and easy to use, at least for what it wanted to be done (modify the colors of the texture).
This program allowed to manipulate the original texture to create 10 other textures to later be used in 10 cats models in Unity, thus, allowing us to have 11 cat models in total.
